Sean Paul Is Still Turning Up The Temperature
The Temperature singer is still making waves all over the musical map
It’s hard to believe, but Sean Paul’s first big single was Gimme Da Light all the way back in 2002(!!!). Yeah, I know, I feel old too. I’m sure Sean da Paul, however, feels anything but old. He has spent the last 13 years constantly re-inventing himself and dropping hit after hit in a wide variety of musical genres.
Tearing up the charts and earning multiple Grammy nominations
It’s not often an artist can say that their second album spawns both a Billboard Hot 100 hit (Get Busy, currently sitting pretty with over 20 million views on Youtube) and wins a Grammy (for Best Reggae Album at the 2004 Grammy’s), but that’s just how talented Sean is.
Since then, Sean has continued to rack up awards all over the musical spectrum while dropping fire tracks time and time again
You probably also know Sean Paul from his collaborations with many artists, ranging from Beyonce to Santana to a Simple Plan. That’s right, from Beyonce to the premiere French-Canadian pop punk band. It just goes to show how much Sean Paul can add to any song.
How does Sean Paul stay relevant for over a decade? He fuses multiple genres, and his inventive lyrics and insane flow can’t be denied. Check out this showcase for his skills: Riot, ft. Damian Marley
